“What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor and more unashamed conversation.” - Glenn Close
My approach is simple, you are the expert on you and no one knows you better, therefore I will seek to help you find the strength within yourself and your community to balance and manage whatever life has thrown at you. Nothing is too big or too small to bring to therapy. Therapy is for all, and all can benefit from having an impartial person to talk to.
I have practiced in the criminal justice field, the medical field, the substance use field and the acute mental health field. I feel confident treating a myriad of problems, including but not limited to: family conflict, divorce, attachment issues, bereavement, depression, anxiety, self harm, substance use/misuse, relationship issues, sexuality, codependency and other emotional and behavioral issues. I prefer working with couples and individuals 15 and up. If you feel you could benefit from a candor and unashamed conversation, I’d love to meet you, learn about you and help you on your journey.
