 Hello! My name is Caroline and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kentucky. My approach to therapy is shaped by both my clinical experience and my own lived experience of challenge, change, transition, and growth. Seeking support is vulnerable and human; both take courage. In my experience, therapy works best when it is genuine and relational. I emphasize building strong therapeutic relationships; connection is made and trust is earned, fostered with empathy, curiosity, and respect. 

I work primarily with school-age children (ages 7+), adolescents, and adults who may be struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, life transitions, feeling stuck, challenges with emotions and regulation, finding a sense of safety and connection, self-expression, and other concerns. Together, we will build a supportive, safe, and collaborative space to better understand what you are experiencing, build confidence and self-awareness, and develop skills that support meaningful growth.  

I pull techniques from different modalities to fit each person’s needs, mainly drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed practices, somatic and body-based techniques, art and expressive approaches, play-based techniques, and others as needed. I am currently completing EMDR training as I continue to develop my focus in trauma-informed care. I am committed to continuing to learn and grow alongside the clients I have the opportunity to work with. 

I earned a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville. I have been lucky to step into and learn from many different environments including, nonprofit community programs & resource settings, pediatric and medical outpatient clinics, nonprofit therapeutic outpatient clinics, in public schools providing supportive therapeutic services and collaboration, and private outpatient therapy. 

Outside the therapy office, I love to spend time with my dog, visit libraries, get outside, research new things, and connect with family and friends! I like to explore, enjoy walking and stretching, and am always open for a new coffee, tea, and food experience.
