 Hello! My name is Shanice, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA). I am dedicated to supporting adolescents and adults by providing a safe space for clients to explore their challenges and develop effective strategies for their healing journey.

I enjoy working with clients who are facing everyday life struggles. As a clinician, I use a client-centered approach, meeting individuals where they are to help them on their path to healing and empowerment. My goal is to assist clients in gaining clarity, resilience, and the skills they need to move forward confidently and purposefully, while also helping them make the changes they wish to see in their lives.

I love my work and enjoy offering my clients a safe and supportive environment for them to grow and explore themselves. My style is both conversational and relational.  I offer my authentic presence within a collaborative, lively relationship in which self-discovery can be non-threatening and even fun.  I am committed to sharing everything I know which I believe will help heal the difficulties I am presented with.  I am inspired each day by the courage clients have each moment they show up for therapy. 

I have a wide range of experiences and feel confident working with clients experiencing issues in the following areas: addiction, depression, relationship issues, child & adolescent issues, sexuality, bereavement, anxiety, and codependency.

 I became a therapist because, to me, the value in life comes when you return to your value within. That comes when we reconnect to who we truly are! My intention and passion is to help a client rebuild that bridge within-from the inside out. I am excited to be able to say that I love going to work each day and I appreciate the true honor it is to share so deeply with the clients who choose to see me.

Hello! My name is Judy Jepsen. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in Kentucky and became a counselor because I love working one on one with people that are seeking to make changes in their lives.  

Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a New York City public school teacher for 10 years, where I taught elementary students with dis/Abilities followed by time spent as the Executive Director of an educational consulting company.

 I have a master’s degree in professional counseling from Liberty University and enjoy working with clients 16+ experiencing issues with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, grief and loss, relationship issues, work- and school-related stress, pre- and post-divorce, those in recovery from substance use disorders, trauma, and various adjustment issues. My approach to counseling draws from Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Solution-focused (SF), and Narrative (NT) therapies. I also provide Christian counseling and, if desired, can provide an integrated approach to therapy that utilizes Scripture along with evidence-based techniques and interventions from CBT, SF, NT.

I take a non-judgmental, person-centered approach to therapy where client and therapist are in a collaborative relationship. My goal is to understand what brings you to therapy, help to identify/clarify the issues and goals, and help you make the changes you want to make in your life.

 I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and have had the honor of helping people make positive change in their lives for the past eight years. I enjoy working with teens and adults of all ethnicities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.

 My passion is working with relationships, whether that be family, couple, or extended relationships. I have a range of experiences working with clients facing everyday life struggles to more severe and persisting issues. I work with people going through relationship issues, depression, anxiety, phase of life, school and behavioral issues. 

I believe in a wholistic approach to therapy in that there are many perspectives and aspects to healing and together we will find what works for you. You are in charge of the changes that you want to make and I will be here to support and guide you through the healing process.

 I am a clinical social worker who specializes in child, adolescent, and young adult therapy. My professional background has prepared me to work with those who are facing struggles such as depression, anxiety, anger management, and traumatic experiences. 

As a clinician, I focus on the needs identified by clients and families in order to help with mood, behavior, and healing. I approach each client from a trauma-informed lens to support a welcoming therapeutic environment. Examples of modatalies used include CBT, play therapy, art and expressive therapy, and strengths based focused treatment. 

I have a strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and families in their growing journey. I look forward to working my hardest to have a positive impact in the lives of those I work with.

I have experience treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance use disorders, grief, and stressors like transitions and relational stress. By integrating multiple theoretical modalities, I honor the unique set of experiences and needs that you bring to tailor an approach that will work for you. I commonly use elements of Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and skill building. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and am passionate about bringing in elements of trauma-informed care to help you better understand yourself, your behaviors, and your trauma responses.

No matter the needs of the individuals I serve, I always strive to create a safe, comfortable, and collaborative environment. Whether you’re working through some changes or need to heal from complex trauma, I’m here to show up for you however you need.

Hi, I'm Jessica, and I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. I recognize that these last few years have been a dramatic change for all of us. It's hard relearning how to socialize, how to emotionally regulate, how to self-care, and essentially how to be a human again. 

From the moment you walk into my door, whether in person or virtually, not only is it my goal for you to feel comfortable, I want you to feel validated in your experiences as well. 

What is your goal for therapy?  In sessions, we will utilize different modalities of therapy, designed to help facilitate your growth based on the goals you set and collaborate throughout our time together. I will help you challenge stuck feelings, learn the different emotions, find where you’re holding tension in the body and work on releasing it, find new ways to focus, work through trauma... there really is no limit when you are the one in charge of your goals.

I am excited to announce that I will be joining Peaceful Solutions Counseling once this school year ends. I am currently dedicated to finishing the school year and the work that I am doing with my current school-based clients.

I am passionate and focused on using my skills as a therapist and art therapist to help children ages 4+, adolescents, and young adults work through emotional challenges that life can bring.  I have a range of therapeutic approaches that I use, depending on the needs of my client. Some of my favorites include art therapy (of course!), play therapy, and sand tray, as well as cognitive and dialectical therapies. I look forward to meeting you and helping you, your child, and your family heal.

My name is Sarah and I've been with Peaceful Solutions since May 2019. I have a true love and passion for working with children and families. 

My personality and skills are most effective with young children and teens, and I really enjoy helping them understand themselves, the world, and teach them how to appreciate their uniqueness, as well as help them build the skills to manage their mood and behavior.  

I work with children and families that have faced normal life struggles as well as those that are dealing with deeper problems, family separation, or trauma. I work with children that have issues with mood and behavior, attention deficit, and school problems.

Welcome! I am a Marriage & Family Therapy Associate with a passion for working with adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, families, and those managing chronic illness. As a graduate of the University of Louisville’s Couple and Family Therapy program, I am trained to think systemically, meaning we are just one part of a much larger whole and are deeply influenced by the world around us. Sometimes, this results in feeling stuck in cycles that no longer serve us, our relationships, or accurately reflect what we value in life. I believe that having someone come alongside you can be a transformative step out of the “stuckness” toward the life you envision for yourself. 
Regardless of what you are going through, my hope is that through therapy you are able to reach deeper understanding, tap into your strengths and values, and strengthen key relationships including the one you have with yourself. My approach to therapy often starts there, and centers on building a supportive space that allows you to begin to find and thrive as your most authentic self. Our sessions together will be collaborative and honest, and your experiences and perspective will be valued every step of the way. 
In our work together, I will take an integrative approach that helps cater therapy to your unique needs, identified goals, and outlook on life. I will use a variety of systems-oriented, trauma-sensitive approaches including narrative and collaborative therapies, experiential therapies including internal family systems (IFS), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and solution focused brief therapy. With couples specifically, I will utilize techniques from emotionally focused therapy (EFT) and the Gottman method. Above all else, I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is most important in reaching your goals as it fosters the comfort, safety, and reassurance needed to bravely search for a pathway forward. Hello there! My name is June and I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Associate (LPCA) who is passionate about the opportunity to be a part of your healing process. As a clinician, my primary focus is on creating and fostering an environment in which my clients can feel safe enough to process through the core issues that resulted in seeking out help.

 If you have a child aged 5-12 that is struggling with emotional or behavioral issues, I would love to help. Children do not always have the cognitive skills that adults use to express themselves, which is why I love using play therapy with the little ones to help them better process through their emotions without having to utilize their words. 

Since graduating from Troy University 3 years ago, I have and have been providing therapy to clients in need in Kentucky and Florida. I gained experience working with acute crisis stabilization and long-term psychiatric care for active-duty military members. If you are a member of the military, a veteran, or first responder that is struggling with trauma, I am trained to help. I am a proud certified eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapist, with experience in combat and childhood trauma. I have clinical experience working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, personality and mood disorders as well as substance use disorder. I strive to always meet my client wherever they are, no matter where they are, and I am honored for you to consider taking me along for your healing journey.
